In all the narratives, truth is the first thing that dies. Courage is the next. Every side is ready to justify what is right and wrong, good or bad without trying to get to the truth.
Nobody really cares about the truth. And the people who care for the truth are either suppressed or decimated. That does not mean truth dies. Truth never dies. Truth will always stand out and scream at those who try to kill it.
As a society, we have forgotten to understand the simplicity and power of truth. The society that does not care about the truth, is already on decay. The trust with which we try to build the society has one foundational stone and that is the truth.
The truth must be naked and clear. It can not take a side. It must present itself in its the barest form. When people stop caring about the truth, we start to lose the grip of reality. The conspiracy theories are formed and the society is divided. The haters who divide the society do not understand that one day they will face the same truth in a form they never realized in first place.
Courage is to do the right thing. Truth always presents you an option to be courageous. Some have the integrity to choose that option, some don’t. People who don’t choose courage, for whatever reasons, aren’t lesser mortals, it’s that they haven’t seen the truth. The day you see the truth, understand it, you will automatically be courageous.
History has many examples. Whether Martin Luther King Jr. OR James Baldwin OR Bhagat Singh OR Gandhi.
If you have a chance, you must fight for the truth. Do not let the truth die in front of you. Otherwise, you will be an equally culprit and part of that society decay.
