Raw Thoughts

Some days, you want to write and nothing comes to your mind. All ideas are stuck somewhere. And then you go for a walk or take a shower, all of those ideas come back striking. It’s a strange phenomenon that we don’t always get all the ideas, but when we do, they are path breaking.

Writing is something similar. I have been stagnated for not writing enough this year, but it also seems like a step back to take more steps forward. Even after finishing editing of the novel The Songs of Farewell, I am still waiting to publish the book.

Writing is precisely the way you also get out of your head. Once you let your hands do the work of writing, the thoughts start unraveling themselves. One of the key learnings have been to write. Just write. Ideas start to float more as you write more. Write the quantity for better quality.

Hopefully, I will be able to get back on the writing train soon to clear my thoughts and write more. Writing has always been a saving grace as it allows me to train my mind differently. It let me escapes from the daily grind and dive into the fictional world. Fictional world may be fictional, but underneath my unconscious is still the foundation of this fictional world.
