Every year, I try to reflect to understand what I have written, how much I have written and if I am improving in some direction.
Even though my overall writing has been improving some way, my writing output has gone down drastically in 2024.
And my first science fiction novel has been delayed for some time now. My editor did finish the copy writing of the book and now it is also ready for book cover design.
Short story writing has not been at the same rate, but I definitely want to get back into my writing habit.
Science fiction still remains the core theme of my writing whether short stories or long essays.
This blog probably needs some revamping, but I have been lazy lately on changing any configuration. With number of tasks in my hand, I want to be careful of my time.
If I remember the quote – Think in decades.
It’s been close to 9 years when I started writing regularly and I have come far. Of course, there is no destination, but the love for the journey. So I want to keep going. I want to keep writing and I want to keep learning.
Let’s start the new year. Here to the more writing and to the more stories in 2025.
