The world is in strange place at the moment. There are wars (at least media reported), not being in those war torn countries, you will never know the truth. Unless some individuals from there tell us about it.
Governments across the countries have their task cut out because of inflation. America on the other hand has its own set of challenges. Software industry is facing the toughest period with AI’s growth.
When I used to think of AI in science fiction, a lot of these things felt like part of that science fiction folklore. But now it’s a reality. I guess that’s why science fiction being fiction, is still a door to the future.
With the advent of AI, software industry is changing fast. But what does that mean for Science Fiction? Where the future will go? How will this shape the stories? How will the world look like in 30-40 years from now?
We are slowly understanding what is possible with AI. The challenges of AI are numerous. It is not that we will have more automation, but actually AI might topple the Governments across the world. The line between actual reality and fake is blurring. It is becoming harder to decipher signal from the noise. Social media is spreading lies and hatred. People are trusting the information blindly. We are using a lot of these tools, but not questioning enough.
