I have been busy writing my first full-length upcoming science fiction novel – The Songs of Farewell.
Writing a novel is a monumental task. You should undertake such a task only if you are crazy enough and crazy enough about your story. And I think I am very gusto about the story that I am writing.
As I previously talked about in this post, my novel revolves around artificial intelligence, singularity.
We are in that time when anything of this imagination doesn’t sound absurd. Artificial intelligence is here. It is only going to get bigger and bigger. The complex world, we live in, is even more complex with artificial intelligence added. So what if we have androids who could be as intelligent as us. What will happen? What if we really waged a world war III if artificial intelligence became dangerous?
Synopsis of my upcoming novel
In order to avoid the world from collapsing, a failed humanoid must find out why humanity wiped out. But when humanoid comes into conflict with a rogue humanoid, he realizes he must reach FSA and investigate the details of apocalypse before their skirmish sparks another planet-destroying war.
More Details
Once I had the plot idea, it was easier to get into writing. The way I have constructed my novel that it goes back and forth in time. The current time frame is when humanity has wiped out and planet earth consists of only androids. Some of these androids are smart enough to know about humans or the remains of humans and investigating why humanity disappeared. The alternative timeline tells the story about scientists and humans who created these androids and what caused human extinction. In the last two chapters, both timelines coincide to give readers enough clues about what happened.
When is it coming
